A Healthy Body Heals Itself
Healing should
be an unconscious process: feed the body, and let the body handle
the healing process. Whenever a diagnosis is made and chemical
substitutes are used to replace normal body processes, then the
unconscious healing becomes conscious.
Weakness Can throw the Body's Healing Process
Out of Balance
If an organ or certain system is under-nourished
and becomes weak, it may weaken the whole spontaneous healing process.
This is the reason why Dr. Chen recommends using all the products
in the SunPack at once.
Illness and
Discomfort Can Show us Where Our Body is Weak
This helps us in taking responsibility
for our own health. We shouldn't gather up the symptoms and diagnose
a disease, but instead gather up the symptoms and patterns and
determine which system or organ is weak, then feed it. For example,
if a person suffers from a sore throat, fever, and colored mucous
and realizes they have an infection then they have two choices.
They could either take an antibiotic to fight the infection in
place of the immune system's natural function, or they can strengthen
the immune system so that it can fight off the infection itself.
Drugs Don't Strengthen
Weak Body Systems, but Compensate for Them
The body's chemical
production process is very precise. We have trillions of cells
in our bodies and each cell produces many enzymes each minute.
Every chemical reaction must be precise. Since the conscious mind
can only think of one thing at a time, the chemical processes must
be unconscious. For instance, if you receive an injection for some
problem, the body receives a big rush of chemicals, the body's
delicate balance is disrupted, and the body is forced to compensate
for the drug by attempting to put the chemicals to use, store them,
or flush them out. Since the drug is now doing the job the body
was meant to do in the first place, it often leads to dependence
and can even require larger and larger doses over time.
Relying
on Substitutes Can Make us Weak
This is not to say that drugs are
never needed. Sometimes in a crisis situation we need a drug to
create a quick balance in the body or to save our lives.
Through Good Habits and System Specific
Nutrition, We Can Restore the Body's Balance and Regenerate its
Healing Powers
If we practice proper preventive steps, then our
bodies can handle most challenges and problems on its own.
Healing
is a Process of Exploration and Self Discovery
We are the sole
scientists of our own body. We are the only ones who know exactly
where it hurts, how we feel, and generally we can determine that
something is wrong with our bodies long before the problem would
show up on a scientific test. We are the only ones in charge of
what goes into our bodies, and we are the only ones to feel and
experience the effects of foods or drugs.
Our Body Heals Itself
Best When We Make Our Own Choices
This means that since it is
our health, then we must be responsible as individuals.
Doctors can advise us, but they are not in the position to be in
charge of our health. When we explore and take charge of our health,
our bodies respond by producing a pleasure chemical which enhances
the healing processes. If we allow others to be in charge of our
health, we become mentally frustrated because we are denying the
body and mind the process of total control and exploration. This
can lead to feelings of helplessness, loss of integrity, and disconnection
from our bodies – which all work against the body's natural healing
energies.
